Challenge: 101. puppet
Title: Confessions
Word Count: 100
Notes: Uhm.. I guess this is more of a literal interpretation of the theme. :D;



Riku’s confession: he never really did feel sorry for Pinocchio. Sure, a little remorseful, maybe, for having caused so many problems. But not actually sorry. After all, the kid wasn’t even really alive, even though Sora was convinced that the little wooden guy could feel.

And as far as he could tell, no lasting harm was done. It wasn’t like he had set him on fire. The puppet and his maker escaped, and they lived happily ever after.

But something about the whole thing still bothered him.

“I guess you shouldn’t feel sorry for things that aren’t alive,” Naminé murmurs.

This is a unique idea, and I really love Naminé's line at the end. It's like a metaphor for the Nobodies as well (who are really just puppets themselves).
