Challeng[101]: Puppet
Title: The True Puppet Master

Notes: This came to me after watching some of the cuts from RE:Chain of Memories.
Who is really in charge of Castle Oblivion?





“…there’s no one here to stop you.” Axel said, turning his back on Namine.

It took a moment for it to sink in for her. She wasn’t HIS puppet, at least for the time being.

But was she resigning her self to be Axel’s puppet? Doing what he wanted even though he didn’t tell her directly to do it? Or were they puppets themselves? Then who was the puppet master? Who was controlling them? Who was the true one pulling their strings?

Namine shook her head. That was something to think about later, after she met Sora.

Was one truly with out strings? Strings that could be pulled and jerked to make the puppet act the way that was needed? Maybe the puppet and the puppetmaster were one in the same?

Namine stopped and thought about it for a moment. If that was true, then she was a puppet master her self. She helped pull Sora’s strings, bringing him closer. Each step he took was because she helped pull the strings that bond him. Even thoughts and memories could be used as strings. That she knew all too well.

Marluxia grinned slightly as he watched his doll hurry to meet the hero. He turned to Axel, whom was watching him watch Namine.

“You don’t make a bad puppetmaster yourself. But next time….find your own puppet?” Marluxia said, vanishing. Axel grinned and leaned against the pillar nearest him, folding his arms.

“Who says I haven’t?”

Very interesting idea. Axel certainly is a good puppetmaster. But, you spelled Marluxia wrong both times. Otherwise, cool drabble.
