Notes: Not a very original title, I know. This is my first post here, so I'm hoping I'm doing this correctly. I just saw At World's End last night, so I'm sort of on a Pirates high, and I'm not even a fan of the movies. ^^;;



When Luxord returns to the World That Never Was, he sees Saïx walking the opposite way. They almost pass each other when Saïx suddenly turns and asks, "Progress report, Luxord?"

The blond turns his head. "Our favorite officious feline made it his business to supply Sora with the usual keyblade-fodder -- a boon, really, as I was able to arrogate a number of hearts, which should serve, for the nonce."

Saïx blinks before letting out a baffled, "What??" and then more sharply, "Is that good or bad news?"

Luxord sighs. "That is to say," he says, a little slower, "I acquired plenty of hearts thanks to Pete's interference." And, before he can help himself, he adds, "Savvy?"

Saïx opens his mouth to respond but Luxord is faster.

"Apologies," the gambler says, waving his hand in a vague manner. "It's just something I picked up in Port Royal."

Luxord's been hanging around a certain pirate too long...^_^ I like the line waving his hand in a vague manner, it's particularly evocative of Jack. Nice job!
