Title: Simplicity
Word Count: 249
Spoilers: I'm gonna stay on the safe side and put spoiler warnings for CoM and KH2

Notes: Sora learns to KISS: Keep It Simple, Silly!
“Ow! Hey, what’s the big idea?”
Sora smiled apologetically, poking his finger with the tip of the feather. “Sorry Donald. All of Jiminy’s pens are too small to write with.”
Donald rubbed his rear for a moment, grumbling. “Since when do you write letters anyway?”
“I don’t know”, Sora said, sighing a little. “I guess I feel like I’d sleep easier knowing that I’ll have exactly the right thing to say-“. He paused. “..When we meet up.”
The notion was enough for Goofy to remove his hat. “Gawrsh Sora, are you writin’ a love letter?”
“What? No!” Sora tried to wave away the heat growing in his cheeks. Donald and Goofy only smiled knowingly before shutting the door behind them, leaving Sora to write.
Hours passed. A pile of crumpled paper formed on the floor behind the desk. Words were crossed out as soon as they were on paper. Dearest? Love? Sincerely? I’m not really sure how to say this, but..
The door finally opened again, and Sora returned to the main cabin, smiling. Donald and Goofy turned to look at him. “Did you find the right words, Sora?”
“Yeah.” Sora tucked the folded note away in his pocket. “It’s funny. I wasted all that ink, then realized that everything I wanted to say was right in front of me all along.” He sat down and grinned. “Let’s go find Riku and the King.”
Sora never spoke of the letter or its contents again.
