Notes: True story here people, I'm just using KH chars to angst out my frustrations.

She stood there, her head hanging low. His blue eyes looked at her calmly, just as they always did. She looked up at him slowly and with a slight smile.

"You wanted to tell me something Yuffie?" he asked.

This is it Yuff, she thought, It's now or never. She opened her mouth, closed it and looked down again. How could she tell him how she felt when she knew he'd never feel the same. She smirked to herself. The Great Ninja Yuffie, defeated by her own feelings. How perfect.

"I'm sorry," she said finally.

He looked at her, blinking in confusion.

"I'm sorry," she said again, "I tried to fight it but I just couldn't. I know it's wrong and I wish I could make it stop and I'm sure you'll hate me but I...I love you Leon and I'm sorry."

"Yuffie," he said quietly, "I'm with Aerith now..."

"I know," she said with a sad smile, "And that's why I'm sorry."

"Try not to apologize," he said, "You can't change the way you feel."

With that he turned and walked away. Yuffie stared after him and smiled. There now, that wasn't so bad, was it?
