Title: Make an Impression
Challenge: [134] Gestures
Wordcount: 100
Rating/Warnings: G/None
Notes: …Mostly because of the second line, which is close to something I heard recently. Probably on the radio.
Smile as you walk towards them. Don't clench your fists; people warm up faster if your palms are open and empty, though that's not as much of an issue if you don't look like you're carrying weapons.
Bow. Maybe not as deeply as you would to royalty, but enough to convince them that you're really quite impressed by them. (Though, really, there's showy, and then there's, well, tasteless. In bucketloads. It's a bit overboard.) Don't overdo the florish on the bow- you don't want to make them feel you're mocking them (even if you are).
Now it's time to talk.
