Uh, I decided that Axel needed to make some friends. Yeah. Friends being Kuzco from "The Emperor's New Groove" and Frollo from "The Hunchback of Notre Dame." :D

Axel raised his eyebrow as he glanced around the city. No matter where he looked, the streets were paved in gold, and they clearly showed that the person in charge was full of himself. If he strained his ears, he could faintly hear some carol of sorts and some type of tapping in the background - almost like someone was dancing.
But really, what purpose did the dancing guards serve? Besides irritate him, of course.
Axel snorted and pushed past the guards, heading to the top of the building. Pushing open the doors (he didn’t want to frighten the leader but suddenly appearing besides them, whoever they were), he was abruptly stopped when a teenaged boy crashed into him. He’d been dancing so feverishly that there was no way that he could’ve noticed Axel.
As soon as they made contract, the music stopped and the teenaged boy grabbed his head in agony before turning to face Axel. “You threw off my groove!”
Axel raised his eyebrow and one of the dancing guards sighed and approached him. “I’m sorry, but you’ve thrown off the emperor’s groove…” The guard moved to grab Axel when he was suddenly engulfed in flames.
The boy’s eyes widened ever so slightly before rolling his eyes. “Ooh, scary trick!” he mocked, wiggling his fingers. “I’m so scaaared!” He shoved past Axel to the rest of his guards. “What are you doing, just standing there? Kill him!”
None of the guards moved, and when the boy turned around, there was a pile of charred flesh on the ground beside Axel. The boy raised his eyebrow. “Okaaay… do I want to know who you are?”
Axel smirked, and shrugged. “Well, kid…”
“Emperor Kuzco to you, buddy,” he retorted, stomping his foot and striking a regal pose.
Rolling his eyes, Axel nodded. “Fine. Kuzco.”
“Emperor!”
Axel summoned his chakrams, and Kuzco stopped talking. “I’m here on official business. I’m here to offer you a wonderful chance to be all powerful.”
Kuzco rolled his eyes. “Um, hello? Did you not hear the song?”
Blinking, Axel lowered his chakrams. “What song?”
Kuzco grinned and pointed to the back. “Theme Song guy!”
Suddenly, a short little man popped out of the background, microphone in hand, and began to belt out a song that, obviously, had to do with Kuzco. Axel rolled his eyes and glanced back to Kuzco, wanting to tell him to make the singer stop, but the teenaged emperor was no longer listening and was dancing again with his guards.
Axel resisted dropping his face into his palm. Really – though the temptation was great.
The only part of the song he caught was the end, in which the short guy bellowed:
“ 'Cause this perfect world begins and ends with ..KUZCO!”
Finishing up his little dance, Kuzco donned a large smile and glanced back to Axel. “Get it now? I am all powerful!”
Axel coughed and nodded. “Yep. Sure. I’m leaving, bye.”
Before Kuzco could get in another word (and before the “Theme Song Guy” could keep singing), Axel summoned a darkness portal, stepped in, and closed it behind him.

Author's Note: ...While writing Frollo was...a lot harder. D:
“I can get you the girl, no doubt about it.”
Frollo looked up from the floor and back into the slowly dying flame, confused. “Who’s there?” he asked, standing up warily.
Stepping out of the embers, Axel appeared, a smirk lining his face. “Me. But that girl you were pining over…”
“I want nothing from that gypsy girl!” Frollo hissed, his eyes flashing as he stepped closer to Axel. Axel raised his eyebrow and sighed.
“Look, I can make this easy or I can make this hard. Either I can help you with the girl, or I can ‘accidentally,’” Axel made quote marks with his fingers, “tell your troops that you’re in love with her.”
“I feel nothing for that…that witch!” Frollo hissed. “It is that gypsy’s fault that she…planted this fire within me! I wish for her to burn in the hell she deserves!”
Axel shook his head with a smirk. “No, no, no. I think you actually want her for yourself.” He snorted and shook his head. “‘Planted a fire within me,’ you say? Yeesh, makes it seem like you’re having some indecent thoughts there.”
Frollo’s eyes flashed again, and Axel shrugged. “I’m just saying…when dealing with fire – even that kind of fire,” Axel took the liberty to summon his chakrams, and allowed fire to spike through the spokes of it. “You need to fight it with fire.”
Before Frollo could answer, Axel summoned a darkness portal and disappeared through it.

Date: 2008-06-25 03:04 am (UTC)I've imagined KH crossed over with some movies, but Emperor's New Groove never occurred to me. Great job!
The Hunchback of Notre Dame one is good too -- clever use of the fire. :D

Date: 2008-06-25 03:13 am (UTC)I was listening to his "theme song," and randomly thought, "Huh. I bet Axel would hate this guy." Thanks, though!
...Thanks again! :D Hunchback of Notre Dame is by far my favorite Disney movie, and Frollo is just cool, and Axel is all for messing with minds, and... yeah. Glad you liked it.

Date: 2008-06-25 04:37 am (UTC)And as for the second one, really captures the more adult side of one of the darker Disney animated films. And, not necessarily sexually-adult, just the overall themes of the movie. Ayus.

Date: 2008-06-25 05:30 am (UTC)the second one: ooOo~ooo. I loved the image of Axel just sort of... popping in! and showing up to tempt Frollo.
Favorite line:
"“Look, I can make this easy or I can make this hard. Either I can help you with the girl, or I can ‘accidentally,’” Axel made quote marks with his fingers, “tell your troops that you’re in love with her.”"
Great job on both of these! :D
