"Do you still believe?"
The question was unexpected, even from Saix.
"In what?" he shot back. "In pink unicorns?"
The other Nobody shook his head, leaning on the railing overlooking the dark city. "In what we are doing here. In what we set out to do."
A barbed question. But all of Saix's questions were barbed. He wondered, briefly, if he was being tested. Not that he cared. Bossman's lapdog didn't scare him one bit, even in moonlight.
He shrugged. "Sure I do. Hearts n' stuff. Buildin a brand new universe! All that shiny fucking stuff bossman talks 'bout."
Saix gave him an even look. "I see," was all VII said, and with that, he disappeared into a portal, his true thoughts a mystery.
The light of Kingdom Hearts shone brightly at this point, and Xigbar glared at it. "Alright! Alright, so I lied to the dog."
He sighed, flopping back against the railing so he could get a better look. "Ten years now, and y'know what? I don't give a shit anymore. I lost my heart for Xehanort and now I'm losing my sanity for Xemnas and fuck this shit."
"So the answer? No. I don't believe. Not anymore. Too much shit's gone down, too many of my buds have died. Fuck this."
He tapped his feet a little. "Wonder when Sora's gonna get here. Be nice to have a distraction... why am I even talking to you?" he said to the great glowing heart. "I sound like Xemnas."
Shaking his head and smirking, he opened a portal, and was gone.
