Title: The New Girl

(anything else): The KH drabble community looked lonely, so I've come up with something even though I admit that I'm not very motivated. Ah well, writers can't waste their lives waiting for the perfect moment.
Little Kairi stumbled on the grimy sand, then stood herself up and placed a finger to her mouth in juvenile contemplation. She wasn't sure where she was. Far away, the purple sky melted into the glowing beach. Palm trees like the ones in magazines dotted the center of the island. She wondered if she saw a pair of tiny yellow eyes darting among the palms, twitching.
She stood for another few minutes, thinking.
