Apr. 29th, 2005 11:02 amTitle: Embrace
Challenge: Rain
Word Count: 184
Warnings: VERY suggestive themes, I think. Especially if one's brain is in the gutter (not that mine ever is, oh no, not me...^.~). Implied Riku+Sora and/or Riku+Kairi, both onesided. Yaoi towards the end...
Riku stood upon the shore and watched the dark clouds gliding towards the islands as the waves became more violent, swirling around his feet and tempting him to enter deeper...
He wanted to shut his mind off and see only the storm that would soon come. To feel the rain swallow his senses and his very being...
Yet all he could think of was what he had heard...Kairi asking Sora to sail away without him...
To...leave him behind...
He couldn't quite wrap his mind around it, really. To leave him...it was like his heart was being eaten by sorrow...
A crash of thunder made him look up in time to see lightening dance across the sky.
...leave him...
In the blink of an eye, the rain poured down, enveloping him in blankets of gray, and though the rain dripped down from his face and some ran into his eyes, despite the fact that his clothes were soaked and heavy and clinging to his body...
...leave them...
…He raised his arms...and felt as if he were embraced...
The rain showered kisses upon his body...
...behind...
