Metaphorically speaking, he was bound to Kingdom Hearts, because Kingdom Hearts possibly held his heart, and a chance at being normal...not nothing.
Metaphorically speaking, he was bound to the organization because Xemnas possibly knew what he was doing, and he really was going to get them their hearts back.
Metaphorically speaking, he was bound to a certain redhead, because even though they couldn't feel, and everything Axel did for him was fake, he was possibly the most important person to Roxas.

Technically speaking, he was bound to a certain redhead's bed via handcuffs, a belt, and some rope.

Technically speaking, said certain redhead was bound to an untimely, painful death.

And even though it was all fake, Axel laughed.
