On Tortuga Sora saw dead men alive, skeletons with will and intent, shells without taste that ate insatiably, beasts without hearts that wanted fiercely.
Back home, he saw in Riku’s eyes a living boy dead, a beating heart that refused to be any more.
Only one still haunts his dreams.
