Sora slips off a sandal and cautiously dips a toe into the water of the lake in front of him. He resists the urge to shiver. Ice cold. Typical. He turns to face his smirking blonde friend and pouts.
“Roxas.”
“Sora.”
“It’s freezing.”
“Twenty bucks.”
Sora scrunches up his nose, thinking for a moment. Then, he shakes his head. “Not worth getting sick over,” he declares wisely and begins to walk away, making sure not to look at Roxas because if he does he knows the other boy will do something to tick him off like –
“…Chicken.”
—that.
Sora turns around sharply and Roxas is still sporting that stupid little smirk of his. And he has the balls to question his manhood of all things. “Not cool, Rox.” Roxas shrugs and jabs his thumb at the lake.
“So?”
It’s a challenge disguised as a question. Sora stands there for a while staring at the dirt.
He sighs. Kairi was going to castrate him.
Quick as the wind, he pulls his shorts down to his ankles, tugs his shirt off his chest, kicks his other sandal off, and sprints towards the water. He ignores Roxas’s loud catcall as he dived into the painfully cold water – he can’t even gasp when the iciness hits him.
Shit.
When he finally resurfaces, the only thing he can hear is Roxas’s laughter and wolf whistles. He dunks his head back into the water. Some things are just safer than blonde perverts.
