notes: Did I mention I'm cleaning out my flash-drive? Finding all these drabble bits that I never got around to posting here. Just a short, sweet piece about Sora
His favorite memories are of sunbleached afternoons, long stretches of beach, and the salty tang of the ocean on his lips.
"Sora!" Kairi, tripping her way towards him, breathless.
"About time you showed up!" Riku, standing tall and proud, the curve of a smile belying his delight.
The gentle sting of a sunburn forming across the bridge his nose, the baked warmth of toes buried in sand. Laughter, bubbling free and easy from the depth of the heart.
Sunsets over the water.
"What do you think is out there?" A delicate hand twined in his own.
"Don't know, but we'll find out together." A confident, warm smile.
His heart was full.
