Notes: First post. I think I am confusing myself about the challenge though. It seems there should be a more specific category for this =_=;;

He could feel it.

The shadow...and its release on him.

The cold, dark hands around his heart were letting go…at last.

How long has he suffered? How many years has he run around in blindness?

...All because there was nothing to hold on to, and no willing hand that stretched out to him.

But now, it's all over, and his captor is gone.

The door has opened, and he is free to go.

Slowly, one step after another, it was time to move forward.

He could see the light, and never in his life has he seen anything more beautiful or felt anything so warm.

It brought him great relief as a pair of bright blue eyes and a cheeky smile came into view. His own lips twitched upwards as a single tear of joy made a clean trail down to the floor.

Sora took in the calm, yet ecstatic air around the man before him and his smile grew.
