Challenge: Odd Pairings
Title: Goodnight
Word Count: 183 (Short for me, little-miss-over-300-words)
A/N: -Slight CoM (Sora) ending spoilers- For this challenge I wanted to do something a bit weird, but plausible. And thank you
snarechan for such a great challenge! I enjoyed writing for it.
“Hey, Naminé!” She turned. “So, we just step in here like Sora did?”
“Yes,” she replied, a sad smile on her face. She walked over to the pod. “Step inside and it should close around you.”
“And then we go to sleep!” he said smiling. The smile quickly faded as he looked at her. “So, I guess this is goodbye,” he said sadly. Naminé forced a smile. “Yes.”
“I’m sorry that I’m going to forget you, Naminé.” She stood there, looking at the ground. Finally she said, “No, it’s ok, I know you want your old memories back. I’m not important. It’s ok to forget me.” He put his hand on her shoulder and she looked up at him in surprise. He smiled and said, “But Jiminy is going to write that note in his journal. So, we’ll be able to thank you when we wake up. Even if we forget you, you’ll still be our friend!” He turned and stepped into the pod. As it began to close around him, he said, “Goodnight, Naminé!”
“Goodnight…” she started as the pod closed, “…Goofy.”

A little angsty but with the underlying hope...
Great drabble!

<.< I like the card system.
I stoped playing CoM because I still need to beat KH. *hides from angry mob of fans* I don't play games as much as I used to.

Date: 2005-07-04 05:19 pm (UTC)I liked the card system too, but I've seen that many people are frustrated by it. Those hack and slashers. *Shakes head*
I don't play very often either. I have FFX and X-2, but I have barely started FFX. *Feels bad* It doesn't help that our basement slightly flooded and we couldn't go down ther to play video games for about two months. It's intact now and it's summer, so I should do some catch up on those games.

Date: 2005-07-04 05:26 pm (UTC)I usually do things like starting over for items once I've finished the game. But, it's whatever you feel like doing.
