Maybe it had been fate. Maybe, since the beginning, he was meant to fall. Maybe this was the natural way of things. The years of training with Master Eraqus, the years of developed friendships, the time spent training himself under the nurturing care of a father figure and the warmth of his friends, none of it really mattered.

In the end, nature ran its course and all the light in the world couldn’t save him.
