kh_drabbleChallenge: 290 - When love and hate collide
Title: There'll be Fireworks
Word Count: 160
Notes: Quick piece written during lecture. XD Implied relationship, eheh.
"--there'll be fireworks."
Roxas frowned, not understanding. "But if they hate each other so much, then why do they spend so much time together? Why not just stay away?"
Xigbar laughed, his chair rocking precariously on one leg. "Good question. Why don't you ask Vexen about it?"
Next to him, Xaldin grinned. "Yeah. Last I checked, he and Marluxia were still arguing in one of the labs."
"Alright,"Roxas said, and already had one foot out the door when a hand landed on his shoulder.
"Woah there, Roxas," Axel said as he turned him bodily around. "I don't think that's a good idea."
"Why not?" he asked, not really resisting as he let the older Nobody steer him back towards the dining table, where both Xaldin and Xigbar were exchanging knowing looks.
Axel rubbed the back of his head, his lips twisted in an embarrassed half-smirk. "Let's just say, if you go down there now, there'll be more than just fireworks."
