Title: Glorificus Telum

Word Count: 312
(anything else): Takes place in Hollow Bastion, Sephiroth is about 16. Sephiroth is at the castle training to become the general of the army privately with a Sensei.
Wow, I’m really getting into this. XD My third challenge in a row I’ve taken on. Muwahaha. Anyways! With Christmas and such coming up....Well this just kinda came to me, hehe.

Sephiroth walked down the halls of the great castle in Hollow Bastion tiredly. Why had his Sensei gotten him up so early? Sephiroth sighed through his nose as he came near his Sensei’s room and knocked.
Moments later his Sensei appeared and once again they were walking.
What kind of work could his Sensei have in store for him on Christmas?
Sephiroth didn’t feel much like training in the snow.
“Ughhh.” He groaned.
His Sensei turned around and quirked his eyebrow, but only smirked.
“I have a Christmas gift for you.” He said, his smug smile growing ever wider.
Sephiroth blinked a little bit. No work? A gift? Or was work the gift?
“Do you recall what you saw the day you came here? What the first words out of your mouth were?”
Sephiroth remembered coming to the castle after being told he was going there to train, because he was ‘something special’. He could recall entering the castle and seeing the most glorious weapon he had ever laid his eyes upon. It had just been made by the world’s most famous blacksmith, and the kingdom was showing off its new prized work. It was the longest sword he had ever seen, with Latin words engraved in the blade that seemed to glow. All he could remember thinking was that blade had his name written all over it.
He could remember saying how badly he wanted it to himself. He could still hear himself repeating its name over and over.
Had his Sensei heard him?
Wait. Could that mean...?
Nah...
He never saw that sword on display ever again. He was so young too, but he still remembered that sword and being downright disappointed once it was gone.
There was no way...
Sephiroth heard a creaking noise as his Sensei opened a door to a room and they stepped inside. The first thing that Sephiroth saw was...
“Merry Christmas Sephiroth, you’ve earned it.”
The Masamune.
His Masamune.

Q: Why did Sephiroth’s Sensei wake him so early?
A: He’s goofy like that. Hehe And who doesn’t wake up early on Christmas? I know my brother always woke/wakes me up early!
Q: Who is Sephiroth’s Sensei?
A: Who knows, that’s up to all of your imaginations. ^.^ I did make an OC that I envisioned to be his Sensei, but whether or not it was him will never be known.
Q: If Sephiroth’s Sensei was so freaking badass and cool, why the hell did Sephiroth end up evil?
A: ...Huh....Uhhh....Uhhhhh....Hmm...He never took him to Disneyland. I think that’s enough to go psycho and torment Cloud’s life....And uh....He didn’t buy him enough Dairy Queen..Yup.....
Q: What are the Latin words engraved onto the Masamune blade that were mentioned?
A: Heeheehee! Guess! I’ll give a cookie to whoever can. :3 It’s pretty obvious.
