Ok well I just got this idea right when I got into bed. I had to write this and post it for all of you or else I would have been up all night.

I would just like to dedicate this to all of you wonderful people (especialy my fellow symbolism nuts ^///^) here in he community, you've all inspired me so much, thank you ^-^. I hope you all enjoy this drabble and please tell me what you think. >.> I hate my writing so meh.

Challenge: Breaking
Title: Craving the Light
Word Count: 120
Notes: This is mainly symbolism so tell me who's point of view it's from and who represents what. If you get it right I'll give you a huuug. Tempting no? ^.^'



Light.

I crave it as if it were a drug. Hell, for all I care it is one. I haven’t seen the light since the day the darkness decided to trap me within its cold walls.

The shadows within these walls, they say I do not deserve to see the light, to feel its warmth touch my body in ways thought unimaginable. I don’t doubt the shadows when they tell me this.

But, with every soft caress they give me, every whisper of sweet nothings, only leaves me wanting the light far more than before.

I think it’s about time I break through these walls, this darkness, this never ending assault on my heart.

“Wouldn’t you agree…Sora?”

haha you're right, it is Riku and Sora is the light. I think when I was writing this I was thinking of the shadows as perhaps Axel and ...Lexus?, don't ask me why I really don't know x.x Chain of Memories is consuming my sleep deprived mind.
I liked your idea of the heartless telling Riku, it fits so yeah it's now officially that.
And basically the end was, like you said, Riku talking to Sora who wasn't there on the false hope that maybe some how Sora could hear him.

^_^ challenging. I don't think I have anything to say that yaoibanshee hasn't said above...and I, likewise, have a Riku/Sora bias that just makes me think of them right away.

Oh well, even if I've totally misunderstood, you don't always have to understand something to enjoy it...or twist it into something you would enjoy...*cough* yeah, great drabble ^_^.
