Title: Waiting

Notes: Set before Sora reached Traverse Town.



Did it ever snow in Traverse Town? No. Well, it hadn’t, not yet. But it rained…a lot. It was raining now, as you searched the town, looking for the key.

And it was cold. You could have put on a coat but that would have spoiled the look, and dammit, you looked good.

Winter was a state of mind. Winter was waiting: for the storm to pass, for the roads to be cleared, for the fire to heat the room. Winter was silence. It was an icy feeling right down to your soul.

It was your time of the year. How appropriate then, that you found yourself here in winter, in the cold and dark…waiting. Waiting for the sign that you could move on.

*blush* I probably should have mentioned it was from Leon's POV, sometimes I forget that not everyone's an obsessive Leon fan like I am and just immediately thinks of him. And it probably didn't help that I mentioned Sora in the notes, and that the 'look' comment was a bit OOC...maybe...but thanks ^_^.
