Title: If She Wishes
Challenge: [110] Royalty
Word Count: 160
Notes: I haven’t posted in a little while. XD; Enjoy. Expect another one from me coming up soon. ;) This prompt finally got me my muse back.
She could be queen, if she wished.
Granted, she had many sisters before her, so they would need to die for her to be queen. But she did not want that, and if needed, would settle for staying a princess.
She would be seated upon a throne, never needing to move, unless drastic situations required it. Mermaids, merman, crabs, fish, all would come to serve her. As a royal, she would only be allowed to eat the finest of food. Perhaps she would have a bustling, yet entertaining servant, such as her father’s. Perhaps he would be her friend.
Then again, she already has someone like that.
So she could stay, forever beneath the sun, living the life of luxury and easiness. She would be comforted daily, loved like no other, and perhaps even find a dashing merman who would marry her.
Or, she could rise to the surface and be with a human. The little mermaid chooses the sun.
