Challenge: [126] Wings
Title: Yanking
Word count: 341
Notes: Nothing to do with politics. Also, I’m uncertain as to what to call the KH version of the YRP trio.
He knew that Cloud would come eventually. All he had to do was wait.
This did not mean, however, that he appreciating attracting other people in the meantime. Most of them didn’t come close, but he couldn’t quite seem to get rid of this particular trio.
“Hey, Yunie, think we can do something with this hair?”
Their size might have had something to do with it, he decided, as he made another grab for that particular annoyance. He had tried using the Masamune earlier, but on small floating something-or-others it didn’t seem to work too well, and they had in fact just attempted to make off with the sword.
“I don’t think…” Yuna started, and eeped as Sephiroth made a swipe for her, dodging out of the way.
“We should braid it!” Rikku announced, and vanished from her spot behind Sephiroth as he whirled around.
“It’d be easier if it wasn’t attached,” Paine said, floating a little further out, just out of reach. “With all this dancing, it’s going to be a little hard.”
Sephiroth glared at her. “I will not permit you to take any of my hair,” he said.
“Ooh! This calls for a plan!” Rikku called excitedly. “Huddle!”
The three grouped together, talking in whispers Sephiroth could almost but not quite hear, and he took the respite to smooth his hair back and consider what he could do to get the three to stop bothering him. He did not, however, have much of a chance to peruse that for long, as the three broke apart and pounced on him; or rather, two of them attacked his lower wings. This effectively distracted him from whatever the third was doing, particularly since they seemed to be focusing on trying to yank feathers out of his wings.
After a particularly vicious yank, he decided enough was quite enough, and left, leaving behind a number of feathers and a lock of silver hair in Yuna's hands. He could wait for Cloud another time. When he was sure those little menaces weren’t around.
