Title: Mr. Holland's Opus
Word Count: 193
Notes: bah~ Guss who~ haha Don't know if this really qualifies as a narrator~ I hope so
He was such a scardey cat. He would always cower whenever the boss came around, or whimper just loud enough for me to hear. Whenever he was sent on missions, he would hold me so close I could almost feel the thumping of the heart he didn't have.
When we went to the Underworld, he fought well. He was scared, but he kept it together enough to make the boss happy.
And then we went to Hollow Bastion. And He was there. I remember how sad he was while he tried to cheer up the fire user after He left. He would play beautiful sad songs for his friend. And he would grieve in his own way. I could always tell what he was feeling, even if he couldn't himself.
So we fought his friend, and it hurt him terribly inside. But he knew he had to do it. And he fought so bravely and he lasted so long. But he got so tired, and his once friend ended it.
I think ,in that last moment between light and darkness, he screamed for the heart he knew none of them would ever possess.
