W-wow. This was completely unexpected. Thanks so much, you guys!

Sometimes it happens due to stress over recent hardships. Sometimes it's because your mind refuses to stop working. And sometimes it's as mundane as having one too many cups of pick-your-favorite-caffeinated-beverage before bed.

We've all been plagued by it at some time or another. For challenge [170], give examples of just what people can get up to when they're stricken with a bout of Insomnia.

You have until Monday, December 22. Good luck!

Challenge: [169] Protection
Title: Knights and Daydreams
Word Count: 305
Notes: I think I've found my new OT3.

Sometimes she would lie awake nights wondering what it would be like. )

Challenge: [164] Best Friend
Title: Fragments of Memories
Word Count: 451
Summary: Have you ever found yourself missing someone you’ve never even met?

Challenge: [162] Another Perspective
Title: A Dancer’s Lament
Word Count: 431
Spoilers: The aftermath of the Heartless War
Notes: I knew I shouldn’t have been playing the soundtrack for The Hours while I was writing. This little piece of angst could be thought of as a sequel to my drabble “Technique”, written for the prompt [143] Style.

I am stretched on your grave and will lie there forever. )

Challenge: [144] Pursuit
Title: Phantasmagoria
Word Count: 636
Notes: It's probably odd that I'm using my own challenge as inspiration, but this idea refused to leave me alone. (Can you guys tell that I love writing about old, obscure Disney cartoons? ‘Cause I do.)

I’ve been away from this comm for far too long. It’s not from a lack of interest, let me tell you. I’m just glad inspiration happened to coincide with a challenge for once. :)

Challenge: [150] Ink
Title: Haven
Word Count: 296
Notes: Because I can’t be the only one who was brought to tears during this scene at the Hundred Acre Wood.

Challenge: [143] Style
Title: Technique
Word Count: 583
Notes: There I go again, pushing the envelope. *sigh* I’ll write something shorter someday, just watch. Anyway, I’ve always been fascinated by the Dancers, and I was inspired to write this after seeing a fan art of Demyx swinging one of them around. (I take no responsibility for any odd pairings that may arise from this.)

Challenge: [138]: Under-appreciated Characters (Part II)
Title:
Virus
Word Count:
597 (Whew... just made it.)
Spoilers:
The aftermath of the Heartless War, I guess. Also a very small reference to how one character met his end in Chain of Memories, just to be safe.
Notes:
This bunny bit me right after I posted my other drabble for this challenge and realized that I really enjoy writing Merlin-centric fics. I had to trim it down from 747 words (honestly, I suck at drabbles), so I hope it’s still as good as the unabridged version.

(P.S. Just imagine that Merlin’s signature is all pretty, ‘kay? LJ doesn’t like me using script fonts.)

Challenge: [ 138: Under-appreciated Characters ]
Title: Duel
Word Count: 330
Notes: I just re-watched The Sword in the Stone for the millionth time recently, and this challenge reminded me of a certain awesome but tragically under-appreciated magician. (This assumes that other members of the Organization were present during the Heartless War-- not just Demyx, Axel, Xemnas and Saïx.)
